The Capital Cowgirls Drill Team
The Capital Cowgirls Drill Team is comprised of a group of riders 15 years of age and up. The team is proud to have appeared throughout Ontario at such equine events as Rawhide Rodeo, Wesley Clover Park, Upper Canada Village and local fairs to name a few. They were extremely honoured and proud to be the opening act for the 2019 RCMP musical ride Sunset Ceremonies and wowed the crowd of over 10,000 spectators each night.
The team is coached and choreographed by Jennifer Byvelds, owner and operator of Nation Valley Ranch in Chesterville, a certified riding instructor and has been teaching competitive riding teams for 10 years.
Assistant Coach for the team is Melissa Leduc from 6LAcres. She has been riding with the team since its creation in 2017 and has taking on this role in 2018.
Watch for them at a performance near you!!!
